Connecticut will receive $1,334,383 from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for new local homeless program assistance as part of their $201 million award to 731 new local homeless programs across the country. The $1.3 million received by CT’s 7 Continuum of Care (CoC) centers will go to 12 new programs that have never before received HUD support.
This newest announcement by HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan is in addition to HUD’s $1.47 billion funding renewal announcement in December 2011.
