On March 1, 2013, the Office of Fiscal Analysis (OFA) released the estimated impact Connecticut will feel from the sequester. Statewide, Connecticut could see a $58.7 million reduction in federal funding.
According to the data from OFA, homelessness and housing related programs will get cut by at least $8,800,000. The Public Housing Operating Funds will see the largest reductions, $4,354,000, which account for almost half of the total cuts to homeless and housing related programs.
