CT Realtors Reports Rise in Home Sales and Prices

Comparing August of 2015 with 2016, Connecticut REALTORS report that both single-family home and condominium sales increased. Home sales increased by almost 10% from 3,439 to 3,753, while condominium and townhomes sales increased by almost 15% from 788 to 899.

While median single-family home sales prices increased, comparing August of 2015 with 2016, condominium and townhomes prices decreased. Connecticut home sales prices increased 5% to $269,900, while condominium and townhomes prices decreased 3.5% to $167,500.
