The Department of Housing Wants to Hear From You

The state Department of Housing has issued a notice of public comment on the newest Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development.

State residents can attend a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. on April 23 at the Department of Housing at 505 Hudson St., Fourth Floor, in Hartford, or they can provide oral or written comment on the draft plan. Written comments should be sent through the close of May 4 to:

The plan is the fifth annual implementation plan under the State of Connecticut 2010-2015 Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development (ConPlan). The ConPlan is a five-year strategic plan that governs the administration of federal funding for housing and community development activities that benefit people with low- and moderate- income. The ConPlan represents approximately $145 million in federal funding, through four federal programs, over the five-year period.
