On May 10, 2017, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development released four new tools focusing on coordinated entry for youth, rapid rehousing, youth voices, and Housing First principles to assist communities in their work to end youth homelessness. These include:

Engaging Youth in Decision Making addresses how youth voices can help guide the decision making process.
Using Housing First Philosophy When Serving Youth highlights the elements of Housing First as it relates to youth that are experiencing housing crises.
New tools on rapid re-housing provides a checklist, a set of Frequently Asked Questions, and Jump Start Tools to help communities plan and strategize opportunities to develop rapid rehousing programs for youth.
