More Than $12 Million Granted to Municipalities for Revitalization Projects

 

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy announced $12.9 million in grants on Aug.13 for housing and community revitalization projects in 24 municipalities. The financing will help create 666 units of elderly and low- and moderate-income housing, in addition to several road improvement projects.

The funding comes from the federal Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program which is administered by the Connecticut Department of Housing.
