NAEH’s 2016 State of Homelessness Report Posted

The National Alliance to End Homelessness report on The State of Homelessness in America 2016 reports a 2% reduction in overall homelessness across the nation and within every subpopulation - families, chronically homeless individuals, unsheltered persons, and veterans - from 2014 to 2015. According to the report, approximately 564,708 people were experiencing homelessness in the United States on a single night in January 2015 during the Point-in-Time (PIT) count. The report also provides detailed information on the trends and changes of populations at risk of homelessness and data on the utilization of homeless assistance housing and services programs.
