New MacArthur Foundation Research Out on The Importance of Stable Housing

MacArthur Foundation

The MacArthur Foundation, through their How Housing Matters to Families and Communities initiative, invested $25 million over five years to explore the idea that stable housing is the foundation for positive outcomes in education, employment, and physical and mental health.

The foundation is making available the findings from 42 individual studies as they are published here. Among the most recent work are studies that look at how housing choice vouchers are not reaching high-performing schools, and how inclusionary zoning can bring poor families closer to good schools
