New State Housing Profiles Released

National Low Income Housing Coalition

The National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) has updated their State Housing Profiles to better illustrate housing affordability in each state and how much affordable housing is available for every 100 extremely low income renter households.  Extremely low income households earn 30% or less of the area median income.

These state profiles include a map depicting the number of affordable and available units per 100 ELI renter households in each county. The profiles also include 2 new bar charts that show affordable housing needs by income.

Connecticut’s Housing Profile is available here.
