Our Executive Director Howard Rifkin Announces His Departure

Dear Friends of the Partnership,

It is with very mixed emotions that I write to let you know that I will be leaving the Partnership as Executive Director sooner than I had originally planned.  Beginning February 28th I will join the staff of Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman as her Policy and Legal Counsel.

This was not an easy decision, and I thought long and hard about the Partnership and the impact this move might have.  I am confident that the Partnership will be in very capable hands with Alicia Woodsby becoming the Interim Executive Director.  As you know, we have a great team of people working here who will not miss a beat as I depart.

I have been truly fortunate to work with some of the smartest and most dedicated people I know who work every day to end homelessness, create more affordable housing, and who seek to build stronger and more vibrant communities throughout Connecticut.  Thank you.

Our work is important and there is an urgency of now.  And while I am stepping down as Executive Director, I am not stepping away from the issues we have worked on together over the years.  I will stay involved and engaged in the future.

All my best,

P.S.  For the moment after the 28th I can be reached at
