Partnership’s Fink speaks at Hartford’s TEDx

David Fink, policy director at Partnership for Strong Communities, spoke in June as part of TEDxBushnellPark, a locally-produced offshoot of the bigger TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) talks that have featured such luminaries as Al Gore, Bill Gates, and Chilean writer Isabella Allende.

TED began as a series of global conferences in 1984, and has grown into an online phenomenon. The local event was organized by Steve Yanicke, and featured speakers like Rabbi Donna Berman, executive director of Charter Oak Cultural Center in Hartford, and Steven Mitchell, of East Coast Greenway.
