Permanent Supportive Housing and Rapid Re-Housing Funding Available

June 3, 2016 is the deadline for the CT Balance of State Continuum of Care applications for new projects including permanent supportive housing and rapid re-housing. Please submit all applications to ctboscoc@gmail.com by 5:00pm.

Providers can apply for funding for the following new projects:

  • New Permanent Supportive Housing: These projects will serve 100% chronically homeless individuals and families including youth and young adults.
  • New Rapid Rehousing: These projects will serve homeless individuals and families, including youth and young adults who are on the streets, in emergency shelters or meet the criteria of paragraph (4) of the HUD definition of homeless.
    • See Application Appendix (page 22-23) for definition of Category 4 – fleeing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking or other dangerous situations.

All new projects will be selected by an independent scoring committee and final decisions will be made by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development via the national competition.
