This year's Reaching Home Celebration is taking on a number of exciting changes, including an online silent auction that is now open to the public. Now, you have the opportunity to bid on the items that matter most to you, including travel packages, dinner at some of Connecticut's best restaurants, sports memorabilia, and more! The silent auction contains 40 packages and counting, valued at $32,000. Right now, you can bid on them for a fraction of the price.

Item categories include Arts & Entertainment, Family Fun, Food and Drink, Goods and Services, Lifestyle, Lottery, Sports, and Travel. Regardless of whether you are attending the event, you can bid on any of these amazing items!

Here are some of the items you can bid on at the RHC silent auction:

Nights out on the town in Hartford: A pair of tickets to the opening night of Anastasia at the Bushnell, and two tickets to Knox Farms' Garden Party in August! Finish your day with a gift certificate for dinner at the Capital Grille.

Made for wine lovers: Complimentary wine tasting at Gouveia Vineyards in Wallingford, followed by a free Signature Facial at C'est La Vie Day Spa, and a gift certificate to J. Gilbert's Restaurant in Glastonbury! As an added bonus, this package comes with 2 free frozen yogurt coupons at Sweet Frog, and a variety of wines via Sue and Tom Hayes.

A special gift for your children: A custom portrait on canvas for your child, aged 3-17, courtesy of Kramer Portraits. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to honor your children through their own special portrait!

Caribbean escape: We have several indulgent vacation packages available to bid on, including resort trips to Barbados, Antigua, Panama, and the Grenadines!

See something you think a friend or family member would be interested in bidding on? They can bid, too! All they have to do is follow the link.

The auction ends at 6:45pm on Thursday, June 13th. If you win an item and but cannot attend the event, your item must be picked up at the Lyceum at 227 Lawrence Street in Hartford, Connecticut. All purchases must be made electronically. Be sure to review the Silent Auction Rules before you bid.

It's not too late to buy a ticket! Celebrate with us and enjoy an evening of networking, beautiful views, mobile silent auction, heavy hors d'oeurves, and a brief awards ceremony as we thank those who have made tremendous strides in ending homelessness in Connecticut. This is one night in the year to pause recognize the amazing achievements of our awardees, including housing tenants and providers, advocates, and policymakers. To purchase tickets, click here.

We hope to see you there - and if not, take a look at our great silent auction or please consider donating to our mission to end homelessness in the state.
