September Sees Increased Home Sales in CT

Comparing September of 2015 with 2016, Connecticut REALTORS report that both single-family home sales and prices increased. Home sales jumped by 2.6% from 3,191 to 3,274. Home prices increased 2% from $250,000 to $255,000.

However, townhome/condominium sales and prices both decrease, suggesting continued fluctuation in the housing market. Comparing the same time period, the data revealed that townhome/condominium sales slid 1.4% from 779 to 768. Prices slipped 1.8% from $168,000 to $165,000.
