Bike Walk Connecticut is embarking on a project to create more “complete streets” to make Connecticut a safer and more bicyclist and pedestrian friendly place. To support this effort, the organization is surveying staff from all 169 municipalities to develop an inventory of the bicycle and pedestrian task forces, bicycle and pedestrian plans, and complete streets policies in the towns.
Please take a moment to complete this very short survey on behalf of your town.
They are also conducting a statewide public opinion survey about residents’ perceptions of their towns’ bike-and walk-friendliness in order to issue a town-by-town scorecard this summer. Take that survey now.
