TIGER Grant Application Webinars Planned

In February, Lynn Richards, from the EPA Office of Smart Growth, told a packed house at Partnership’s IForum, “Suburban Retrofit: How CT Towns Can Add Density, Affordability and Walkability to Survive…and Thrive,” that Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grants could benefit communities looking to revitalize.

DOT is offering a series of webinars on various aspects of the application process. The webinars are free, but space is limited. Register by clicking on the webinar topic below:

If you find the webinar you want is full, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) is booking additional dates. These dates will be posted to the TIGER website soon.

If you cannot attend, the presentations will be posted online within a few days of each webinar. Applicants are also invited to call DOT if they have questions about the application process. The number is listed on the TIGER page.

Through TIGER, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) invests in road, rail, transit, and port projects in communities nationwide. Applications are due April 28.
