The Warren Group Reports Modest Increases in Sales Prices for February

A new report from the Warren Group shows that in February both home and condominium sales prices increased in the Nutmeg State. In a year over year comparison, single-family home sales decreased slightly, by 3%, to 1,688 from last year’s February total of 1,741. However, the median sales price for single-family homes increased to $237,000, up 7.2% from $221,000 in February 2017.

The Warren Group reports that a total of 3,817 single-family homes have been sold this year-to-date (YTD), with a median sale price of $235,950. 

Comparing February 2018 with 2017, condominiums sales increased 9.3% to 496 sales, up from last year’s total of 454. The median sales price for condos experienced a slight increase of 1.1% to $145,000 from $143,375.

The Warren Group reports that a total of 1,124 condominiums have been sold YTD, with a median sale price of $148,900.
