Amanda joined the Partnership for Strong Communities in March 2015.

Before joining the staff at Partnership for Strong Communities, Amanda committed several years to service and travel where one thing became clear: Amanda was meant for a career that would allow her to give back to the community. She found herself living in tight quarters with a team of twelve while completing service work in Oregon, Washington, California and Wyoming as an AmeriCorps member. She awoke to the sound of howler monkeys each morning while interning at a wildlife refuge in a remote area of Costa Rica. After joining the staff at Habitat for Humanity, affordable housing became a passion as Amanda continued to learn more about the various places she lived, worked and traveled in. Amanda is enthusiastic, passionate and eager to learn more about affordable housing, policy and development.

Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Eastern CT State University in 2010. She plans to return to school for either an MPA or MSW.
