2020 PIT and Youth Outreach Count

2 December 2019

Volunteers from the 2018 PIT Count.

Join the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness on January 22, 2020 for the 2020 Point-in-Time (PIT) Count. The PIT Count is a single night census of all people who are experiencing sheltered and unsheltered homelessness in Connecticut. The 2020 Youth Outreach and Count will also be conducted from January 22 to 28.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development requires Continuums of Care to conduct annual PIT counts each year to identify the number of people experiencing homelessness and the resources needed to help serve these individuals.

This is a volunteer-led effort. Contact the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness at if you are interested in volunteering for 2020’s count. Interested parties can also submit a volunteer interest form, which can be accessed here.
