Urgent action: Testimony needed on several Reaching Home legislative priorities!
The Appropriations Committee will hold a public hearing on the Governor's FY 2022-2023 proposed budget for Health agencies including the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) on:
Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM via Zoom
The DMHAS budget includes several line items that impact our shared goal and may impact your work and organization directly. Due to the session being virtual, it is vital to have as many people as possible submit written testimony in support of our shared legislative priorities. Please use the Reaching Home sample testimony and talking points as a guide. Email your written in Word or PDF testimony to APPTestimony@cga.ct.gov.
To provide verbal testimony during the hearing:
- You must register using the On-line Testimony Registration Form. Registration closes on March 1 at 3:00 P.M.
- To register to testify by phone, call the Phone Registrant Line at (860) 240-0033
- Speaker order will be posted on the Appropriations Committee Testimony Page for 03/03/2021 on March 1 at 8:00 P.M.
- Testimony is limited to three (3) minutes
