Berlin Issues RFQ for Redevelopment near Berlin Train Station

The town of Berlin has issued a request for proposal (RFQ) for developers for the redevelopment of a site near the Berlin Train Station in anticipation of commuter rail service as part of the New Haven/Hartford/Springfield line. The RFQ is for a 1.2 acre portion of the 1.65 acre parcel on 889 Farmington Avenue. The site allows for a mixed-use development of commercial space on the first floor and 20 housing unit above.

RFQ’s are due no later than 4:30 pm on Thursday, September 17 to Town Manager’s Office, 240 Kensington Road, Berlin, CT. Questions should be referred to Chris Edge, Economic Development Director, 860-828-7005,
