CHFA Issues Permanent Supportive Housing Initiative RFP

The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking applications for its Permanent Supportive Housing Initiative, including capitol financing, project-based rental assistance, and support service funding for permanent supportive housing development projects.

The RFP seeks to fund projects for the State’s budget initiative to create up to 150 permanent supportive housing units in the state.

A conference will be held for all interested parties and their development team members at 10am on September 7 at Lee Auditorium, Merritt Hall, Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown. Information on the application process, including the process of financing with the State and CHFA, will be provided along with social service provider requirements. Applicant principals, their housing consultants, and social service providers must attend this conference; other members of proposed development teams are strongly encouraged to attend.
