CoreLogic recently released its Home Price Index (HPI) Report, with data through November 2018. The CoreLogic HPI report evaluates and disseminates national and state-level trends in home prices and projects future housing trends.
The report finds that home prices increased nationally by 5.1% in a year-over-year comparison between November 2017 and November 2018. CoreLogic forecasts a similar increase over the next year of 4.8% between November 2018 and November 2019.
Connecticut home prices continued to show slow growth over the last year, representing one of the twelve lowest growth states in the country (below 3% increase).
