Desegregate CT Releases Zoning Atlas

22 February 2021

The advocacy group Desegregate CT has released a new tool to help Connecticut residents better understand and visualize local zoning in their areas.

Click here to view the Connecticut Zoning Atlas.

The Zoning Atlas allows users to search across Connecticut's 2,620 zoning districts to determine which allow single-family or multi-family housing as a right. The Atlas also provides demographic information on each town, such as the percentage of residents who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC), as well as the percentage of residents who are considered cost-burdened (spending over 30% of their income on housing costs).
