CT Department of Housing, Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness

On Wednesday, June 20th, 2018, the Connecticut Department of Housing, in partnership with the Reaching Home Campaign partners and the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness, published Connecticut Shelter Diversion Definition.  Shelter diversion aims to divert an individual and family experiencing a housing crisis from entering the homeless response system by helping them to connect to alternative housing options and mainstream resources.

The Connecticut Shelter Diversion Definition provides an overview of shelter diversion and circumstances where an individual may be eligible shelter diversion funding.
