Governor's Challenge on Family Homelessness

8 November 2018

September 20, 2018 was the launch date of the Governor’s Challenge on Family Homelessness in Connecticut. At this kick-off event, providers across the state set the bold goal of housing 360 families by December 10, 2018.

A live dashboard is tracking our success and progress in housing families since the start of the challenge. Our most recent update indicates that we have housed 280 families and 540 children!

All of the teams involved in this challenge came together on November 7, 2018 for a Midpoint Review to focus on creative problem solving and to celebrate all of the hard work providers have done thus far.

On December 11, 2018, we hosted the Final Event of the Governor's Challenge. A detailed summary of the event will be posted in the next couple of days.
