HHS Announces NOFA to Support Employment and Housing Services for Individuals Living with HIV

On May 24, 2017, the Department of Health and Human Services announced Improving HIV Health Outcomes through the Coordination of Supportive Employment and Housing Services Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). This NOFO is making available $3 million to ten communities under the Health Resources and Service Administration to help people living with HIV access employment and housing services. Each community will receive up to $300,000 for three years to develop and implement interventions that coordinate HIV care and treatment, housing, and employment services to improve HIV health outcomes for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured people living with HIV (PLWH) in racial and ethnic minority communities.

HRSA will also be awarding $2.1 million in funding to one provider to evaluate and provide technical assistance the awardees.
