This summer, Partnership for Strong Communities (PSC) began a strategic planning process for the HOMEConnecticut Campaign, with input from existing and new partners. The goals of the strategic planning process are to develop, in collaboration with our partners and community, the key goals, objectives, and strategies that the campaign should focus on, as well as the structure by which we work to accomplish those goals.
As the backbone organization of HOMEConnecticut, PSC in seeking to support an authentic, open, transparent, strategic planning approach that is strengths-based, inclusive of community partners, and centered in race equity and the experience of community members with lived expertise.
To date, over sixteen individual interviews with key stakeholders have been completed. PSC will next distribute a survey to further understand existing work to further affordable housing across the state, strengths, gaps, and input on what work is most important in addressing the affordable housing gap in CT.
