On November 21, 2018, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded $30 million through the Family Unification Program (FUP). This funding makes available 3,000 housing vouchers for youth and families that are experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness and are involved with the child welfare system. Connecticut was awarded $2,271,064.
