The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has issued the final FY 2017 Income Limits. Of the 12 HUD Metro Fair Market Rent Areas (HMFAs) in Connecticut, two saw decreases in the median family income (MFI) which is based on a 4-person household. The decreases were in the Waterbury, CT HMFA, which declined from $66,600 in 2016 to $63,000 in 2017, and the Milford-Ansonia-Seymour, CT HMFA, which declined from $96,800 in 2016 to $93,500 in 2017.
