On January 17, 2017, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced the second round of the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). This NOFA will make available $43 million for community to develop and implement innovation projects to address the needs of youth and young adults who are experiencing homelessness, a $10 million increase from fiscal year 2016 allocation. Up to 11 communities will be selected awarded, out of which 5 will be from rural communities.
Applications are due by April 17, 2018 and must be submitted via grants.gov.
