After a national search, the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) Board of Directors unanimously agreed to appoint Karl F. Kilduff of Trumbull as the new Executive Director of the quasi-public housing agency.
“I am delighted to join the CHFA management team and look forward to working with the entire Board of Directors, as well as CHFA's employees, to address the challenges and opportunities available to the Authority at this unique time in Connecticut.” said Kilduff.
“Mr. Kilduff has a distinguished career in local government. He brings a diverse set of skills with a solid record of accomplishment that will bring bold new leadership to CHFA.” said Evonne Klein, CHFA Board Chair.
Kilduff will officially step into the role in August, replacing Norbert Deslauriers. Kilduff has experience working for local governments at the executive level, having previously served the towns of Darien, CT; North Branford, CT; and Johnstown, PA. He holds a M.P.A. with honors from the University of Connecticut and a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Syracuse University.
