According to the newest Connecticut REALTORS report, comparing October 2016 with October 2017, median sales prices of single-family homes and condominiums have increased in the Nutmeg state, while median home sales have decreased slightly.
The median sales price of single-family homes increased by 2% from $245,000 in October 2016, to $250,000 in October 2017. The median sales price of condominiums and townhouses increased by 2.5% from $159,000 to $163,000 during that same time.
Single-family home sales saw a slight decrease of less than one percentage point (0.6%), from 2,936 in October 2016 to 2,919 in October 2017. During that same time, condominium and townhouse sales also decreased slightly (down 1.3%), from 741 in October 2016 to 731 in October 2017.
