Coordinated Entry Core Elements, a guidebook published by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, aims to serve as a resource for Continuums of Care (CoCs) that are working to develop and implement a coordinated entry system to address the needs of people who are experiencing homelessness in their community. The guidebook provides a road map of the basic structure, services, roles and responsibilities that need to be in place within a CoC to serve those experiencing homelessness and explains the benefits of implementing a coordinated entry system.
