New USICH Report Explores Critical Link Between Affordable Housing and Homelessness

1 April 2019
United States Interagency Council on Homelessness
On February 28, 2019, the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) released a new report, Aligning Affordable Housing Efforts with Actions to End Homelessness, which explores the critical link between affordable housing and homelessness. The report identifies nine strategies to align work to expand the supply and access to affordable housing with efforts to prevent and end homelessness.
Families and individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness need access to affordable housing, and the homelessness system relies on access to these homes to prevent and end homelessness for all populations.
USICH will host a webinar to discuss these strategies and methods of implementation on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 12:00 to 1:00pm.
