Partnership for Strong Communities is a statewide nonprofit policy and advocacy organization dedicated to ending homelessness, expanding affordable housing, and building strong communities in Connecticut. Founded in 2004, has helped successfully advocate for over $2.3 billion in state funding for housing assistance and homelessness support programs. These housing resources have helped Connecticut reach a historic decline in the state’s homeless population, with a 40 percent reduction in shelter use since 2012.

Bank of America Foundation generously supports nonprofit organizations as they work to preserve, and increase access to a mix of affordable housing options and connect low- and moderate- income individuals and families with the tools and resources to achieve their financial goals.
