SAMHSA Announces Funding to Help Those Experiencing Homelessness

On March 3, 2017, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration released a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) Grants for the Benefit of Homeless Individuals. This FOA plans to award approximately $ 47.5 million in fiscal year 2017 to support the creation and enhancement of local community infrastructure to address the needs of individuals and families that are experiencing homelessness and have a behavioral, mental and substance use disorders. 

The deadline for this FOA is Tuesday, April 25, 2017.
