USICH Framework for Ending Youth Homelessness 2012

30 November 2012

In an effort to meet the goal of ending youth homelessness by 2020, the US Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) included a framework for ending youth homelessness in their 2012 Amendment to Opening Doors.  This framework pinpoints interagency collaboration as the next step to ending youth homelessness. USICH believes the framework provides the key to reaching this goal by breaking the framework into two parts:

  1. Improve data quality and collection on youth experiencing homelessness and
  2. Build capacity for service delivery.
